The Role
We’re seeking a Contracts Manager who can make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing organization, this role offers the chance to be at the center of complex commercial contracting and strategic business partnerships. As a Contracts Manager, you'll lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of key customer agreements while collaborating closely with Legal, Sales, Professional Services, Finance, and executive leadership. Key Tasks/Duties:
Manage a key portion of the contract lifecycle – specifically, the drafting, reviewing, revising, negotiating, and finalizing of contracts such as: Master Services Agreements, SaaS Agreements, and Statements of Work.
Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Experience, Finance and Executive Management teams to ensure contracts adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to internal stakeholders and external parties.
Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct periodic contract reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
Handle other special projects as assigned.
Essential Experience:
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
8-10 years experience in software/SaaS commercial contracting
Background in business law, contract negotiations, new technologies, and international environment
Experience in procurement practices
Strong understanding of contract law, terms, and conditions, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex legal concepts effectively
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate cross-functionally
High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and drive operational excellence.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to grow
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Travel:
Ability to travel up to 5% of working hours
Salary Range: $145,000-175,000 + incentive
