As a Strategic Alliance Manager at Esker, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by collaborating with our partners throughout the sales cycle. In this role, you’ll work closely with established channel and alliance partners to help generate pipeline, close deals, and expand Esker’s footprint.
You’ll collaborate with partner leadership and sales teams throughout the sales cycle—supporting go‑to‑market strategy, sales enablement, pricing, and deal execution—while helping partners build the skills and confidence to become increasingly self‑sufficient. Success in this role comes from strong relationships, strategic thinking, and consistent execution.
Key Responsibilities
Build new business by supporting channel and alliance partners throughout the full sales cycle, including sales training, prospecting strategies, product positioning, pricing guidance, and contract negotiation
Drive pipeline and revenue through joint go‑to‑market initiatives with partner leadership, partner sales teams, and Esker’s direct sales organization
Partner closely with Esker leadership and Business Development Managers to identify mutual prospects and develop new business opportunities
Strengthen partner product, sales, and technical capabilities by aligning partner go‑to‑market and sales strategies with Esker’s framework
Build executive‑level relationships that drive sales alignment, technical practice development, and long‑term partner commitment
Share performance insights and analytics with executive and technical stakeholders through regular cadence meetings to increase demand for Esker solutions
Manage a defined portfolio of partners by establishing KPIs, tracking performance, conducting regular reviews, and delivering against documented business plans
Collaborate cross‑functionally with alliance enablement, marketing, professional services, sales, and Esker leadership to support partner success
Essential Experience
5+ years of prior external sales experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales or related field
Experience selling high-value software based solutions including SaaS through a channel or partner ecosystem
Experience selling to private equity firms and large consulting organizations
Strong telephone skills coupled with a professional approach to customer service
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with a professional and consultative approach
Basic understanding of Oracle, SAP® and or other ERP solutions
Clear understanding of business processes (order management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.)
The ability to travel up to 30%

Salary Range: $120,000 - 160,000 + Commission
